Watch this You Tube presentation to learn the numbers from 1 to 31.
Now that you have heard the numbers, click here to see them written as flash cards. There are also a number of activities for you to do here to help you to remember the numbers.
This blog has been set up to help Room 2 learn French. We will post support material for all of the units and themes that we do in class.

Have a look at this video of the route for the Tour de France. It gives you an idea of the geography of France, and also shows you just how far the cyclists have to ride!

Revision
Wow! For the first time as a teacher Mr Nelson has worked through the first folder in one of the language learning programmes. This is pretty impressive stuff from the Room 2 students, as we aren't even halfway through the year.
This week we will look at consolidating our learning by looking back through all of the topics we have covered so far. The way that you can do this is by looking through all of the posts in our Let's Learn French blog.
To give you an idea of what's to come, here are the next series of topics that we will be doing to take us through the remainder of the Oui! unit.
Unit 10 - Joyeux anniversaire! (Happy Birthday!)
Unit 11 - Entr' acte (Revision)
Unit 12 - Quel temp fait-il? (What's the weather like?)
Unit 13 - La mode (Fashion)
Unit 14 - Quelle heure est-il? (What's the time)
Unit 15 - Chez moi (My place)
Unit 16 - Miam! Miam! (Yum! Yum!)
Unit 17 - Tu aimes les sport? (Do you like sport?)
Unit 18 - Entr'acte (Revision)
Unit 19 - Une crepe, i'il vous plait (A pancake, please)
Unit 20 - Vive la France! Vive le fraccais! (Long live France! Long live French)

Tu as un animal chez toi? Do you have a pet?
Our next unit is on pets. Some of the animals you see on this You Tube clip may not be the sort of pets that we have at home (although I would like a pet giraffe!), but many of them you will recognize as common household pets in New Zealand.

Countries
This video has the name of several countries. Unfortunately I couldn't find one the had New Zealand in it. However, we will be covering New Zealand in class.

Revision
Last week in Room 2 we revised what was covered in the first term. Because of this I won't put up a new post of content this week as we haven't yet started our unit on the family.
If you haven't already done so, go back and check the previous post so that you are ready for the next unit of work.
